Georgian Façade
The exterior wall facing the High Street is of finely coursed knapped flint, offset by quoins, roundels and doorways of Portland stone, and constructed in 1748. The windows were made Gothic, by remodelling them with points and tracery, in the 19th century. On the outside, above the windows, are a number of black flints along the entire length of the church which have been said to form an inscription, but this has not been deciphered.
