Who we are

We are the Church of England parish of St Michael in Lewes worshipping in the anglo-catholic tradition in the historic church of St Michael’s.

Mass is at the centre of our life as an inclusive worshipping community. Parish Mass is on Sundays at 10.30 am and Mass is said on Thursdays at 10 am. For feasts and special services see Services.

Our parish is in the benefice of St Anne’s, St Michael’s and St Thomas at Cliffe with All Saints.

The Churchwardens and Parochial Church Council of St Michael’s are responsible for the maintenance of the building. The ancient churchyard is closed for burials and is maintained by Lewes District Council.
